Sound Game is an iPhone and iPad game developed by Leo Baron. Solo play is fully offline. The optional multiplayer feature ("challenge a friend") sends a small amount of game data to the app's own server so two players can compare scores. This policy explains exactly what is collected, when, and why.
If you only play solo, Sound Game collects, transmits, and logs nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no telemetry, no crash reporters, and no network calls. Your high scores stay on your device.
Data is sent to our server only when you actively create or accept a challenge. At that point the app sends:
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, device sensors, or any advertising identifier. We do not sell or share this data, and there is no advertising or third-party analytics.
Multiplayer data is processed and stored on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc. on the developer's behalf, solely to run the challenge feature. No other third party receives your data. Push notifications, when enabled, are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service.
The app stores the following only on your device:
UserDefaults).UserDefaults) and the random device identifier (iOS Keychain).Sound Game generates tones using the iOS AVAudioEngine framework. It does not request, access, or record microphone input. No ambient audio from your environment is ever captured.
Sound Game is rated 4+. Multiplayer collects only a self-chosen nickname and a random identifier, never real-world personal information. We recommend not using a real name as the display name.
Because multiplayer data is tied to a random identifier rather than an account, the easiest way to stop all collection is to play solo or disable notifications. To request deletion of challenge data associated with your device, email leovbaron@me.com and we will remove it. Rights granted by the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada), and PDPA (Singapore) — access, correction, deletion, portability — are honored through this contact.
If the data practices change, this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised, with a release-note callout in the affected app version.
